In my 20 years of career
I came across age-old questions, more than 20 thousand times
What do HR do? Rangoli competition, annual picnic,
➡ Candidates are sourced by placement agencies
➡ Interview selections are done by hiring managers not by the recruiter.
➡ Payroll is processed by Accounts Department
➡ Performance is managed by the Reporting Manager
Then what do HR do? 🤔
Even some very thoughtful questions such as
If Organisation Development (OD) is to improve business processes, then why is OD with HR?
Or even how are various psychometric tests or personal profile tests designed?
And do they really work, do they give helpful valid-reliable insights?
We will explore world of HR with a new perspective – Human Behaviour 🧘♂️
A perspective that will help you master anything and everything in HR
Many years ago, the whole world spoke about all managers should have basic knowledge of Finance Management 💰
Today I feel all managers should be HR managers – to select right person, to get best performance to motivate and retain a team member, to develop talent for next level

Let us Start:
‘A Human Behaviour’
Or simply
‘Behaviour’ ❤️
This one word will be our focus throughout our journey
How is it related to Attitude, Skills and Knowledge (ASK)?
How is it linked to Competencies?
How is it linked to Performances?
Let us understand that but before that let us understand
Can you predict Human Behaviour? 🤔
And can you moderate and modify and get desired behaviour at workplace?
The answer is Yes – agree? disagree? ⁉
🎯 S-O-B-C [Stimulus – Organism – Behaviour – Consequence]
When there is any type of trigger, spur, Stimulus that stimulates the body (Human) in a set Organism, system, environment (Organisation) depending on the expected or predicted Consequence, end result, final outcome, the body (Human) acts or Behaves in a particular manner
